Premier can call on over 30 years experience pallet inverter manufacturing. We can comfortably claim a wider product range with more machines sold per year than any other supplier worldwide.
We always have machines available for rental, either short or long term and we are entirely flexible about converting this to lease or straight purchase later.
Premier Pallet Inverters:
The fourth category of pallet inverter user is the company who simply needs to turn something through 180 degrees. There are many examples:
1. Printers who need to print on both sides of the sheet of paper.
2. Producers of laminated product such as MDF board.
3. Cheese producers during the maturation process.
4. Vineyards will allow the cork to expand in the neck of the bottles then turn them through 180 degrees for long term storage.
5. Concrete sections can be inverted to remove the steel mould.
6. Bananas are turned after ripening for better presentation in the supermarket.
Just when we think we have heard every reason for 180 degree inversion, our customers will come up with one more.
With increased hygiene standards has come the requirement to eliminate wooden pallets from production areas. From the late eighties, the move was heavily towards plastic pallets which were easier to keep clean. We have reached the point now where perhaps 40% to 45% of the pallet inverters in use are employed to switch food and pharmaceutical ingredients from wood to plastic.
FS Pallet Inverter:
Free standing 180° inverter with single clamping table. Loaded and relocatable by forklift truck. With a 2 tonne capacity the FS Inverter is available in 3 standard jaw opening sizes with levers, push-button, remote or automated controls, or it can be built entirely to your specification. All FS Inverter machines are painted with two coats of zinc primer and a 2 pack epoxy acrylic top coat as standard.
The FS Inverter is ideal for boxed, bagged or canned goods, and is versatile enough to handle everything from yoghurt and biscuits to bottled wine or cement. Use the FS to switch from wood to plastic pallets, to recover damaged product from the bottom of the stack or to add flexibility to your distribution pallet policy. We can build the FS with a stainless steel turning body or with a hot zinc spray rust-protected finish.
FS DC Pallet Inverters:
The FS DC is the most versatile model in Premier's range. It can load by FLT or at ground level by pallet truck and can handle loads from 600mm to 2 metres in height. The "DC" stands for dual clamp.
Its strong construction combined with a 2000 kgs capacity make it suitable for the harshest environments. It is a machine that will run and run in the busiest warehouse or coldstore despite the most abusive treatment.
Although it will operate perfectly well without special installation, the FS DC is normally anchored to the floor. Basic guarding is included in the package though many customers opt for a floor-fixed cage with photo-electric guarding at the front.
Like the FS, the FS DC will transfer almost any kind of product from pallet to pallet. It is equally at home with sacks of food ingredients, piles of paper, tinned goods or boxes of crisps.
All FS DC Inverter machines are painted with two coats of zinc primer and a 2 pack epoxy acrylic top coat as standard. The standard unit handles loads up to 2 metres and down to as low as 600mm in height while the loading capacity is 2000Kgs.
Customised versions of the FS DC Inverter can be supplied with such options as:
- increased jaw opening and table size
- pallet grippers to reduce manual handling
- stainless steel, hot zinc spray or "Steel-It" finish available.
DD 1.25 Pallet Inverters:
The DD1.25 is a versatile unit specifically designed to handle loads in the lower weight range.
The table size determines that it is not suited to pallets over 1.2m wide or with overhung product. We would not normally build the DD1.25 with modified table dimensions or jaw opening.
Ideal for handling finished goods (for example dairy products, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and stacks of paper).
- Lightweight (1500kg) - easy to transport.
- Twin chain-linked clamping tables opening to within 110mm off floor level.
- Can be loaded by forklift truck, stacker, or at ground level by pallet truck via a 1.5m long ramp.
- Compact size. Perfect for working in confined areas or difficult to access locations.
- Simple push button controls with option of semi or fully automatic controls.
- Various guarding options.
- Best suited to lightweight (1250kg maximum), low volume applications.
It has a smart well-enclosed appearance which keeps it looking clean and presentable in food and pharmaceutical locations where, in common with the other inverters, it is mostly used transferring goods to and from clean pallets.
Due to its low overall weight, it has proved an ideal system to demonstrate the concept of 180 degree inversion at trade fairs. Its compact dimensions make it equally ideal on a show stand or in a small warehouse where space is at a premium.
RR1 Pallet Inverter
The "heavy duty" member of the Premier family, the RR Type 1 is specifically designed to handle wide or heavy loads.
All RR Type 1 machines are painted with two coats of zinc primer and a 2 pack epoxy acrylic top coat as standard.
Each RR Type 1 pallet inverter model is built to customer requirements but usually with dual clamps and a load capacity of anything up to 10,000 Kgs. The particular style of pallet inversion makes the unit the obvious choice for loads such as steel or board over 2 metres in width.
We always recommend automated controls with the RR Type 1. The touch of one button initiates a clamp, recline and rotate sequence. The machine would have a fixed location where it would be surrounded by fixed guards and photo-electric beams.
RR2 Pallet Inverter
Like its bigger brother, the RR Type 2 also works on a recline and rotate principle to achieve 180 degree inversion. The dual clamping and tipping are hydraulically driven whilst the turning is achieved by releasing a lock mechanism and rotating the body by hand. It is a smooth, simple and quick operation.
The Type 2 is usually rated at 1000 kgs capacity and is designed to handle short stacks of product, particularly paper. It is used to turn piles through 180 degrees for reverse side printing or by papermakers to transfer 2 small piles of paper to one larger pallet for distribution.
The loading table is flush to the floor for ease of loading by pallet truck. Controls can be either lever operated or extended push button.
G95 Inverter
The G95 inverter offers a basic alternative to the conventional 180° Inverters. By tipping the load on its side just beyond 90° and opening the top clamp, the load is allowed to glide gently away from the pallet enabling its removal and exchange.
All machines painted with two coats of zinc primer and a 2 pack epoxy acrylic top coat as standard.
With two basic maximum jaw openings of 2250mm and 1950mm. We can also build special sizes on request. The G95 has a 1500 kg capacity.
The G95 inverter works best with block-stacked, usually boxed, goods. Its robust construction makes it particularly suitable for coldstore operations where its also ideal for freezer separator removal.
